Toronto Wildlife Centre: The WildBall

The Toronto Wildlife Centre resues wildlife in distress, and provides care and medical treatment to sick and orphaned wild animals. When my best friend Judy found an orphaned baby squirell her first call was to the rescue hotline: no, no, no – not the Toronto Wildlife Centre but the Idee Hotline! You see at Idee we are crazy about wildlife and animals in general. So it should not come as a surprise that a few months back Paul and I spent a weekend taking care of two orphaned squirrels. They were so smart, so hungry, and so so cute. I could have adopted them but I don’t think the cats would have liked that so we ended up driving them to the Toronto Wildlife Centre. They take good care of wildlife there and that brings me to the WildBall happening next week.

The goal of the Wild Ball this year is to raise $50,000 to ensure that they can continue to help the thousand of sick, injured and orphaned wild animals that arrive in their veterinary hospital in the summer.
