Warren’s ski house: our home for the Tahoe Triple week in Lake Tahoe.
My great friend Adriana gave us home made almond cookies for the flight. They were fantastic. Kept us on a nice sugar high during the flight. Upon arriving in San Francisco we were starving. We checked into the Holiday Inn by the airport (fantastically convenient since in the morning we were going to drive to Tahoe). Asked for a recommendation at the front desk and we ended up at Peter’s Deli. A hilarious place really… We had junk food for dinner and headed off to bed. The plan was to get up early enough to get to Tartine in San Francisco. Drop by REI for some emergency race shopping, pick up my great friend Warren in Berkeley and make our way to his ski house in Tahoe and of course stop by WholeFoods!

My great friend Warren’s Berkeley garden:
I love Warren’s garden. His house in Berkeley is built on a hillside. The views are amazing and the garden follows narrow pathways leading to flower and herb patches. Very Wild. I am unfortunately not a good photographer and these few photos I managed to snap before we rushed out don’t do the garden much justice.
To be continued.
