Returning to running


Long hiatus from blogging – too much work. Long hiatus from running – again too much work. I am going back to running today and will run 5 times a week without fail for the foreseeable future. As Stowe told me once (twice or 3 times really) I need to prioritize my running. When I run, I am happy, in shape, focused at work and I can do so so so much work. When I don’t run it feels like I am stuck in the bottom of a mud pit trying to swim to the end of the world. It is not pretty.

If  Mike Pierce can train for the Antarctica 100k in a freezer, I think I can haul my behind to do a daily 5k to complete my own tiny Kaihogyo.
