It is raining cash over at Facebook

According to the WSJ "Microsoft in recent weeks approached Facebook with proposals to invest in the startup that could value the fast-growing site at $10 billion or higher"

Facebook apparently adds more than 200,000 new users a day. What I find interesting in the WSJ article is the world-wide visitor numbers for online properties (in millions):

  1. Google = 561.1
  2. Microsoft = 525.5
  3. Yahoo = 478.7
  4. Time Warner = 270.1
  5. eBay = 240.4
  6. Wikipedia = 210.8
  7. Fox = 158.2
  8. Amazon = 151.9
  9. Apple = 124.1
  10. CNET = 122.2
